hey all,

i am not sure if this has been posted before, but i am looking to possibly compile a wheel/tire size cross reference of rims that can be directly fitted off other nissan models to the D21 pickup.

I have a 94 4x4 XE king cab and the stock tire size is 235/75/15

i found some 98 frontier wheels/tires which are 215/65/15. I assume this is the 2wd model? Those tires would be about 10% too small.

what other rims fit directly over to the D21? And which have the same tire size even? shoot them off into this thread and we can have some information in one place.

cheersMarko

My stock 1997 4x4 with no body lift or suspension lift can run 31x10.5 tires with no rubbing, even while turning lock to lock.

^^ is on flat pavement, but I have flexed it pretty good off road and I never had any problems except for faster wear of all the suspension components : )

All D21/D22 Hardbody/Pathfinder/Xterra/Frontier wheels should interchange from 1986.5-2004. The 96-04 R50 Pathfinder rims will also bolt up, and I think 720 4x4 rims will as well.

Add also to the list 6 lug Toyota 4x4 wheels, Isuzu, Mitsu, etc.

It's a very common 6 on 5.5" lug pattern. The Nissans I mentioned used 14, 14, 16, and 17 inch wheels, but all will bolt up. Obviously tire size has to be suited to the vehicle, but in general, a 31x10.50 is the largest tire that fits without lifting on the 4x4s and 235/75/15 (about 28.5") is the biggest for the small 2wds, generally speaking. Larger rim sizes can be used with lower aspect ratio tire sizes. 14" 2wd rims will not clear the brakes on a 4x4.

hate to do this for my first post, but would this tire size [265 70 r 16] fit a stock 97 HB king cab.

hope to buy my sisters truck soon, and I know I'll need some larger than stock tires to get me up to some lakes in our area.

cheers,matt
