i run a 7/8 solid addco rear sway bar it was about 180 from summit racing for a 2wd truck. the 4wd bar was cheaper, about 120. they also offer a 3/4 bar, a belltech and a hellwig. like he said stillen has a bar too.
if you have stock rear springs you'll like the difference, roll is dramatically decreased, especially when hauling something. you know that feeling like the truck is getting steered from the rear and the front end is light? it really adds some stability.
now i asked if you have stock rear springs because i have stiffer rear springs. they decreased roll and allowed me to carry more weight, even though they lowered the truck 3 inches! the sway bar merely added extra stiffness and oversteer through the turns
the only thing i've noticed that is different between sway bar mfg's is the mounting style. o know there was one in particular which caused clearance problems with larger rear tires.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/257388scroll down theres a pic of the swaybar right next to the rear tire NOT COOL. mine mounts behind the rear axle, no clearance issues. so does hellwig. i am not sure about belltech and stillen
the nismo 2008 catalog doesn't list a rear bar for our trucks, only a front bar. maybe they offered it in the past?
