Hey guy's *wave* havent posted here in, forever, but i wanted to see if you guys had some insight.

I'm in the process of installing a different engine in a D21 (4wd's all have the limited slip rear right? if not where do i get one?)

Is there any way to get a not SO slammed right height (i mean low is fine) but really achieve a decent handling truck? Where do i pick up components like sway bars and other things?? (i've been searching but havent found anything amazing)

what power am i going to snap this rear end at? thanks in advance!

are belltech's worth the money??

You're not providing much detail. What are you swapping in? What year is the truck and what motor did it have originally? 4 banger and V6 trucks came with different axles. You'd do well to read the axle sticky at the top of this forum. It'll answer a lot of your questions.

if 2giddyup couldnt snap the stock h190 rear with his 500hp SBC, then I dont think your rb is gonna do it either. GO to your local wreckers and find a pathfinder with an LSD rear and disc brakes. If yours is 2wd then the parking brake stuff should be a snap to hookup as well. Also, you wanna grab the driveline as the companion flange is different. Last thing to is buy new spring perches, your going to have to do this either way, 4wd or pathfinder requires new spring perches for 2wd trucks. I have found two lsd v6 2wd rear ends over the years and countless pathfinder lsd's. So, your better off finding a pathy rear LSD setup. If your rb comes with an r30a transmission then all you will need to find is a driveline from a 2wd v6 hb and it will all bolt up, if it comes with an fs5w71c transmission then you will have to make a hybrid of your current driveline and a v6 driveline/pathy. peace.

i was under the impression i could just pick use a 2wd 4cyl, rip out the engine, throw in the rb, move the engine mounts, bolt up the trans, cut and shorten the shaft and away i go after changing the suspension.

So Pathfinder with LSD and disc brakesand get a 2wd v6 hb, i thought the ka trans and rb trans were similar though? aka driveshaft splines and all?

if i picked up a 2wd v6, i'd just bolt and go after the rear upgrade?
