Getting ready to boost my Single slammer in my d21. Have a s13 ecu since d21 isn't eprom. Tried s13 ecu in truck has way power. Only thing tach don't work according to pinouts have to move one wire no big deal. So was curious why ran way stronger. So decided pull open and compare the maps in Nistune. Let the pics do the talking. First pic is D21 timing map second is s13.

Well yea the s13 is tuned for highway driving ,the d21 is tuned to be a truck

Thanks for posting the visual.

Auto ecu's have different fuel maps than the manuals. Not way different but none the less.

Yes fuel maps are different been running 240 ecu for week or so now way more power cruising down highway. I'm getting about same mileage. Next week will make a na tune see how it runs when chip ecu.
