d21 flywheel into 1990 240sx

is it possible to swap in d21 truck flwheel into 1990 240sx, what do i need do i need to swap out my bell housing or change throw out bearing fork to a d21 as well ,it gives more torque , looking to try it .got a spare fly wheel and stage 2 centerforce. give me info !!!240sx peeps

I did this swap using the 240mm flywheel. It's the same diameter as the 280zx. I didn't replace the fork or change the bell housing. I used the replacement parts in the kit and that was it. (pilot bushing, throw-out bearing, clutch, and pressure plate.)

Using the truck flywheel you can buy a cheap 280zx turbo clutch and you'll gain the 15mm ring of surface area.

In comparison you are better off buying a regular 225mm clutch setup that has a higher friction constant/clamping force compared to increasing the overall area. If you are trying to max the friction in every possible way then hi-po clutch and larger flywheel is the way to go.
