D21 Engine swap

My 87 2wd Hardbody went deer hunting this weekend and is damaged beyond repair. The plan is to swap my Z24 into my Dad's 89 4x4 Hardbody whose original Z24 finally gave up after 500,000 hard miles. A cursory glance has me thinking that it should be a pretty simple swap. The only thing I see is mine has power steering and his doesn't. No big deal. What snags, if any, am I missing?

Welcome to NICO! Should be a direct swap. Adding PS is just transferring the pump and bracket to the new engine. Sorry to hear you hit a deer, it's always painful to lose one of the early trucks.
