then their gonna sayStance is God, i love stance, i suck stance balls.

in a nutshell..

when it comes down to it.its what you want. Stance are more expensive, could be an inflated price, or more expensive for a reason

Reputation is everything...and d2's rep isn't too good. I'm currently in the market for some coilovers too and I'm seriously considering the stance gr+ pro's.

I may be shooting myself in the foot here... but I have D2s.

Honestly, so far so good. I too was looking at Stance and D2s about 6 months ago. Obviously their was a price difference and I liked the D2s cheaper price. But I was very hesitant because I hadn't seen good reviews. But this is what swayed me... My installer who has been working on my car for 3+ years including an SR install recommend D2s because he had installed some recently at customers request and found that they weren't all that bad. Mainly because D2 saw that there coilovers sucked and went back to the drawing board with them and did a complete overhall. The new D2s seem to be much more reliable. And this is coming from someone who runs HKS and Tein coils on his cars. And yes... he has several 240s which he drifts. When I had mine installed he was getting rdy to install a set of D2s on his S13. Now... my other reason I would take the risk... because the East coast supplier for D2 is right down the street from my work. So if I have any problems I can go yell at them. Also because they were recommended to me I know my installer would take care of me if something went wrong.

Now I'm not saying to go get the D2s. If you have the cash I'd say try the Stance first. But if your strapped for cash I think the D2s aren't as bad as they used to be. I've been running them for 6 months now and they've been great!

...let the flaming commence...

i just looked up d2's on their website. what is this cheaper price you guys are talking about? the cheapest coilovers they have available for the s-chassis are $1,300. that's right in line with stance prices.

I only paid around $850ish for new ones. The $1300.00 is the normal retail, but I did find a site for them at the price I paid. I'll try to find it again.

Update: Ok so I found the site. http://www.urbanimport.com/ is the company that sells them. They are at the same address that the D2 website lists as their East Coast distributor. And the prices seem to be much higher than I remember. So either it was a different website that I saw the lower price on, or they've raised the price.

Are you talking about Tuner Solutions in north Raleigh? They recommended d2 to me for the same reasons.

Pbm's are way too stiff on there softest setting. The quality seems to be top notch though.

Think I'm gonna go with Stance GR Plus coilovers for now. My coils aren't completely gone yet so I might change my mind before I order them but who knows. And how still is too stiff with the PBM's? No suspension travel stiff, cause that's how my Cuscos are right now. Could also be cause I'm on max low but they should still have travel.

Im running the new (black) style d2's and love then. The only other coil i would go with is PBM. Jerry at urban imports hooked me up and is a great guy. He is on Carolinanissans.com for you NC guys.

Endura-tech...Do some research and you'll find that these are very high quality coilovers (O.E. quality).

I have them and the handling is great without a harsh ride

I've heard alot of bad things about d2's but ive had mine about two years and they are all still great , none are blown or siezed. my friend snapped one drifting into a curb and d2 replaced it for 60 dollars. I have a lot of friends with megans and they maxxed theres out even removed there collars to go lower.... yet my d2's aren't maxed out and I'm lower than they are.
