Got D2s installed late summer. Now that's it's colder, my coilovers are making really loud knocking sounds. The colder it is, the louder the sounds are. It'll makea slight noise at 55-60 degrees (probably from when it's still cold in the morn), and when it's 35 it makes constantly *KOK KOK* sounds from all coilovers. Anyone else have this problem? Is this because it is oil-based?

Well.. squeaking is normal.

Operating temperature is -5 to 60 degrees Celsius, so it's probably not knocking because of the cold weather. The gas heats up anyway after you drive it for some time. Does the knocking go away after you drive for awhile?

It's probably just some loose nuts..

it doesn't really go away after 30 minutes of driving, it does tend to get slightly quieter though but not by much. I'll try tightening up the nuts then. Squeaking is normal though? But is it supposed to be loud?

Man I have the exact same problem. is it when your turning your steering wheel? We found it to be the spring turning. I have been meaning to tighten the spring tension a bit to see if it fixes it. If anybody else has other ideas please let me know.

no, it makes that loud squeaking noise whenever I drive over a small bump or uneven part of the road. It can be smooth but the slightly uneven part of the road will make it squeak..
