I am currently in the market for a set of coilovers. I like the features the D2's have compared to others camber plate, height, damper. does anyone have these on their car? Do you like them? Any problems? Or am I better off going with Tein SS. Also I see this group buy thing. Any one starting one anytime soon for D2's? I see you can save alot of money on them with a group buy. thanks for any HELP Pete

I have K-sport coilovers which are made by the same company (just orange instead of purple), they have been working real well for me. They make a little noise when its cold out but other than that and a sticky pillow ball, they have been problem free. I run 7kg/mm up front and 5kg/mm out back and its fairly reasonable for my 60 mile trek each day.

Yeah I saw your car on Cardomain they look pretty nice. Someone just pointed out about the recall which I think you had posted something on. That problem has been addressed right. I just came acroos them yesterday and think they have the most adjustments in the price range. They are all aluminum housing right. So no rust. thanks again

I just got mine last weekend. So far, i'm loving it, really stiff

The good- They're dirt cheap, i paid 600 bucks for mine, definitely bang for the bucks coilover- Body roll is now non-existent, totally didn't expect it to be this stiff (this is my ONLY suspension mod besides cheap azz ebay strut bars )

The bad- make a lot of noise when cold- I having problem adjusting dampener in the rear b/c of the way they're design ed(wrench is too long and it won't clear the body).- spring rates are 9/7 really really rough ride, thinking about investing in a$$ pad or something.

J-spec tuner..do you have the same problem with adjusting the rear dampener? do you have to take the coils out everytime you wanna adjust it cuz that would be really PITA

I just left the adjustment knob inside before I installed them... it's still a PITA to adjust though.

i have the k's and i had to pull the interior panels a little to get the tool down there. i left it in there one time but the vibration noise was unwanted. also the recommended rates of 9 fr/ 7 rr are too stiff imo. more like an 8/6 would a little bit better.
