My friend is installing D2 coilovers on his 97 240sx. The wheels are 17x7 +40 : the passanger side front fits fine with a decent amount of room. However, the driver side front has very little room and the camber adjustment looks pretty similar on both sides yet one side fits [can put a finger in] and the other doesn't. We even got some 5mm spacers, and the drivers side front has BARELY enough room [can't fit a finger] (not as much room as the other side)

any input?

which camber adjustment are you talking about?

The upper spindle bolthole is adjustable, so you can add or remove camber there as well as at the pillowball. If those aren't the same, of course you're going to have less room on one side, but the pillowball camber setting could be the same.

we just needed to loosen the two lower bolts and yank outward on the top of the wheel and retighten.

that fixed the problem.

thanks for the help!
