Wasnt sure where to put em, since this is the only forum i visit

I thought today was gonna suck, I had to go to the DIGP USA vs. JAPAN Qualifying Rounds to shoot pictures of some of the Falken Cars and their Drivers. I had to go with someone I wasnt sure I wanted to go with so I was immediately a little apprehensive.

Got there and started taking pics and wasnt happy with too many of them. Day wasnt going good. So I decided to go into the center of the track and shoot from there. As it turns out i got happier.

Watching from grandstands and watching 30 feet from the cars is a totally different experience. I have tire in my hair, I smell like used condoms. It was hella fun.

Here's some eye candy ( i have another 1GB card I left at the office that some some good pics. So i'll upload them here on monday. I shot about 2GB's worth of stuff. Here's a small assortemnt of some i liked. This was my first ever event shooting motorsports. Ive shot tons of stationary cars, I have ALOT of studio time as well. I thought the shots were gonna come out horrible, but i was somewhat suprised. Not the sharpest images but...



Steph Papadakis debuted a new S2000. Just painted like lastweek.

Then Steph decided to test the cars build quality by stuffing it into a divider.

At this point it was that Stephs wheels decided to detach from the car.

Looking good for this guy.

until he decided front bumpers are played

Someone from the vortex said cones are the new black, so he got him one.

Canon 20D. With a crappy kit 100-200mm L-Glass 24-70mm

Should have rented a good tele lens.
