D1 GRAND PRIX USA $2 OFF Irwindale Speedway

D1 Plans to make its first ever international appearance at the Irwindale Speedway on August 31, 2003. Anticipating the drifting craze to break open in the United States, D1 will show to the American Public 16 of its top drivers/teams in a special night time competition. Look for the entire D1 crew to be in attendance, including the Drift King himself, Keiichi Tsuchiya. Slipstream will operate this United States invitational competition. In addition to the competition, the event will also feature a car show, special autograph session, pit area tour, "how to build your own drift car" installation and much more.

We will be setting up a temporary D1 competition course in the middle of the 1/2 mile oval. The grandstands will provide an awsome view of the entire competition. In addition to the world class drifting competiton there will be plenty of things to see and do, including:
