Last year sucked because it rained. I had to be in the crows nest, freezing my a$$ off in the rain. Then you all laughed at me when I couldn't get my pancho on correctly.

haha I swear, at least 3 people ask me about that everyday... the 510 is gone forever as far as I know, insurance is going to give me a little money for it (not enough but...what can you do right?) and I picked up this new S13 about 3 weeks ago.

Ted...just make sure the insurance company does not give you blue book value because it would probably be only a couple hundred bucks.

Have them use the "comparative" values when determining its value. That means start doing some homework and research 510's that have recently sold and/or are currently selling. Try finding one in similar condition as yours and you should at least get a couple grand. Remind the adjuster, too, that your car was a "rare, classic and historic vehicle" and maybe bring pictures and stories about the 510. That will definitely increase your settlement.

P.S. I might be selling my 510...I am moving up on the Skyline waiting list.

^yep, even 240s in the blue book, saying a mint kouki is worth like 6-7,000? hell no..try and relate that value of the 510 to that of a '71 skyline, the insurance company will be scratchin their heads lolsad story, but your new s13 looks clean..i love s13 silvia fronts w/ brick headlights

Right now, she told me 1600. I still don't think thats anywhere near what its worth. I will give her a call on Monday anyway because I still have paperwork that needs to be done.

But thanks for the heads up, I'll definetly take a swing at it.
