d side window autoed up cms back down.?

got a g35 here at work and searched ,couldnt find anything on it .the d side window when autoed up itll go up hit the top and come back down ,bout ,,,,4 inches then stop and i here a click . now we thru a switch at it, and the motor, anyone know what else we could do??also checked fsm , doesnt say much about it.THANKS!!!!!!!

I know that the window motor needs to be reprogrammed...but I'm not sure on how to do it. There is a reset button on the motor...

Same thing happened to me and it went away. The dealership said there is a setting fo it but I am pretty sure you have to pull off the door panel. I am guessing it just reduces the sensitivity of the safety feature, smashing your or your childs fingers in the window.

You need to re-time the driver side window motor to correct the problem. I had this happen about three months ago but had the dealership correct it since it is under warranty.

i tried that , u push the reset button , manual the window up then down then back up and it should b reset, does anyone know if that is the correct procedure?

there's a reset button for the window? I had my car broken into recently and they messed up my rear window. Got a new one, and took it to the dealer cuz it was doing the same thing where it'll come down about 4 inches after using auto up. They said my motor regulator was broken and replaced it under warranty.

well, figuered out that u have to have obd2 scan tool to do the procedure.this is a used car that we got traded in at the ac dealership, sooooo we'll b sending it to nissan,after i spent a **** load of time and effort on it. .thanks though every one.

first off...u don't need a scan tool to reset it. 2nd off...you need to have the window motor replaced. resetting it will only work for a few weeks at most.

replaced the motor, and the switch , then tried to reset. still to no avail, we sent it off to infinity or nissan, ill find out wha they do this afternoon.
