Well for anybody who knew, my Z was mis-firing due to what I thought was a bad injector. I did a plenum pull, brand new injectors, fuel line, vacuum hoses and so on. Well took it for a drive and the issue.....hasnt been fixed :( . It idles rough and when you hit the throttle there is little to no response. Feels very under powered. Is it in safety mode? What causes this? Am I missing something big here? Just kinda hoped it would be fixed but owell. Anybody have any ideas, any help or knowledge would be appreciated.

Is it smoking??

Have you done a compression test? Have you tested the PTU?

Have you checked for codes since doing the work? Couple simple things to check would be the timing and coil packs.

Codes that read out are the 11- Crank Angle Sensor Circuit, 13- Temp sensor,I probably caused this one when I made the wires longer and Code 34 - Detonation Sensor Circuit.

No smoke, have not checked either.

It is firing on all cylinders, both injectors and coil packs

ok well you might of found this but im posting it anyway. Scroll down to code 11 because this maybe your problem. CAS are a b***ch sometimes on our cars....happened to me with my J30 (which is a VG30DE) look at the write up and take the steps it states on the post. For my J30 ended up being cleaning the connector (Lucky lol)

If it helps, it sounds like a train, kinda of a chug-a-chug-a, but you can hear all 6 cylinders firing. Cleaned the connector and didnt change it at all.

Solved it!!! So when I was putting the connectors for the spark plugs and injectors I thought I had cylinder 2 on 1 and 1 on 2 so I switched em. Well it turns out the injectors were switched but the spark plug connectors were not....I feel really dumb but it is running and very strong now. Sorry for the trouble guys but thanks for the help.

Don't be sorry man now we can add that to the list of checking when doing a plenum pull, we will always make sure our connections are on properly :gapteeth:
It makes sense though because of it being switched the firing order is out of whack but glad you found out your problem

Mark, I'm surprised this is still in the Gen section after your eagle eyes have crossed it :whip
