Might work on 2nd Gen perhaps?

Anyways, I made cheap auxiliary mudflaps to my OEM for the heck of it. I was bored and had junk lying around to make these.

Real easy. Just remove existing flaps, use existing holes as guides.

Use any semi-durable plastic material lying around.

For example, Tupperware kitchen mats painted black would work. Black painter mats I saw cheap at hardware store.

Make black rectangles, size it to your liking. Measure height from ground you want and width. Hold plastic rectangles to car to get an idea how you want it to look. Many looks you can do, mats aligned with original or slightly wider are ideas. Drill holes or in my case I stabbed with a pen since it is not very tough vinyl plastic.

I zip tied the hanging corner on the right flap, and found this window bracket I used on the left. Just figure a way to kinda hold the corner opposite the preexisting holes your using.

Screw on with your existing flaps. I wanted it that way. Do what you want.

Had some protective door edging left over so I used the trim on the bottom of the plastic.

If you don't like your creation just unscrew them off and back to normal! :dblthumb:

Curb feelers were a fail. Wanted to protect my sidewalls since i always scrub my tires trying to park far away from other cars who like denting my doors.

Stupid looking, but its my car, my way.

Anyways, they kinda work, because it makes a noise when to stop when im backing up to a curb while parking.

One i actually broke, but i didnt want my money to go to waste, so yes i kept the ugly curb feelers.

Im an old fart anyways. Old school.

the "single mom" trucker decal is better. kudos on the homemade flaps. I did something with the large truck flaps at the local parts store. I made deeper/wider ones for the front to keep stones and slush off the paint.. It can be a bit tricky to get the holes just right so the flap isn't crooked. I did try it with clear polyester from the craft store (lexan like but less expensive), but they didn't stay clear for long and got beat up really quickly. The plastic ones work better. Although the clear stuff can help get the holes right for the opaque plastic ones
