In a 93 Altima, which cylinder is cylinder #4.

most transverse I-4s are cylinder one on the pass side and cylinder 4 on drivers side

on all 4cyl engines number 4 cyl is the one at the transmission end of the engine. Regardless of how the engine is oriented in the car.
