if you check the "everything you need to know about your z32" thread it has a write up for assembling a newly rebuilt motor, it has a section on installing the cylinder head, removal is just reverse order. i know its not detailed but its all ive got at the moment. i just pulled both heads of my tt two months ago, really easy to do even for the unexperianced, just remember if you plan on reusing the head gaskets (not recommended) to loosen the head bolts in the correct pattern. on the z32 i belive thats a x pattern from the inside out. good luck :)

also there are 2 10mm bolts on the heads holding them on besides the head bolts. The passenger side is in the back side of the head near the battery(kinda) and the drivers side is behind the timing belt cover on the front right corner i believe its been awhile. Good luck. Is the engine in the car or out?

its in the car. the reason im taking the heads off is because im pretty sure I am having valve issues on the cylinder back by the battery which i think is 6. I have changed the injector and coil and plug and swapped parts around and have come to the conclusion its either a burnt valve or something like that.

compression test would help before you tear it down. I replaced my head with the engine in the car and it was hard but definitely doable.

Its easy with the engine out lol but I hear its no walk in the park with the engine in...

Def compression test before you do it. And don't even consider re-using the head gasket, that's nonsense!
