I am having some coolant and oil inbreeding and I'm in the process of removing the head. I have Mitchell ondemand and it dosen't explain the cam gear (rear set for the lower chain) removal that well. It says to just mark it and remove.... well I can't seem to get enough slack in the chain to slide the sproket off so I CAN remove the head..The cams have been removed and all the other stuff, am I doing this the hard way? or do I need to remove the lower cam cover to seperate the lower timing set?........ If this makes any sense to anyone, please help

If you have a DOHC, you have a KA24DE. Your applicable FSM would be any of them from 1991 to 1994. And, yes. They are in the link posted in my signature.

Yes, lots of kits. Just search around. And, there's plenty of information out there about using the second exhaust cam.
