cylinder head/ head gasket question...

im im gettin a decnt S13 240sx for around 800.... the thing is...needs alot of body work..radiator and i was told he blew a head gasket.... he said this can be fixed by purchasing a new head gasket and gettin the head shaved down.... i was also told when this happens you might as well get a new motor... ppl here seem to be quite knowledgable on the subject and id like some third party neutral opinions...any ways thanks for your time.

you can "just" replace the headgasket if nothing else is wrong. ka motors are real cheap, so it wouldnt matter that much if u did have to swap motors.
