Hello im New on here, anyways I got good compression on #6, i have power going to coil and i have spark, also have power going to injector, The other injector are OHM out to be anywhere from 12.5-13.5 except #6 its reading is something like .0001. So is this a no brainer, or should i also consider other things as to why this happend? 127,000 mile 5speed, non-turbo 1993

Pretty much that's your answer that the injector's internals are cooked. Replace injector with good-used or new oem.

Thanks man. Yeah I just got the car. The timing pully fell apart. Luckly it didn't mess the motor up. I have replaced the belt and got all the cams in the right time. Now the injector went out. Also the guy that had this car cut the exhausts off from like right behind the wheels. Do you know if this car needs the exhausts for back pressure?

Ouch, guess you got really lucky with the timing belt. You checked the compression in all cylinders I'm guessing to ensure no harm was done?

Non-turbo engine likes some back pressure, you would probably loose some torque with most of the exhaust missing. That being said, sounds like just the mufflers have been cut off. If you like the Z being that loud then you aren't hurting anything, besides your ears lol.

Yeah i checked compression, kinda weird tho cause im getting like 200-210 compression reading, i thought 175 was normal? or is that for the TT model? Unless my gauge is messing up. yeah i was wondering about the exhaust if it lowerd the performance. and yeah its too loud. especially here in lexington sc, thoes town clownes are just looking for a reason to pull someone. oh yeah and one other thing, when i was comming to a stop light, before i pressed in the clutch i hit the brake first and then was going for the clutch, but the clutch went all the way to the floor, and didnt come back up, i had to pull it back up by hand, any suggestions on that? i mean i believe it needs a new one, or should i be also looking at the clutch slave master thingy where the fluid goes? again thanks for all your help, this is my first nissan 300zx and let me tell you, it wasnt fun the first time around to take the phlenum off and all the BS to get to the timing belt. and now i have to take the phlenum back off to get to the injector, unless i do what i saw on youtube and grind the manifold down lol what a retard.

That does sound high, I can't remember the compression reading off the top of my head. You can find it in the online 300zx service manual which is free, the link is in one of the sticky'd threads up top of this forum. The more important thing is that all of the values are within a close range of each other, I'd say less than 15-20psi apart.

Check to see if there is any fluid left in the clutch master cylinder, which is located right beside the brake master cylinder. (Brake master is bigger than clutch master). Sounds like either your master cyl or slave cyl is leaking, or even perhaps the line is torn/leaky. Check all of the components for damage or leaks. If there are none and the fluid is low you will have to top it up and bleed the system. Remember there is a bleed screw on the slave cylinder and one up on the front fender inside the engine bay.

Oh i see, yeah theres fluid in the resv. checking lines now, fixing to go out and get the new injector in a few, and hopefully i can drive the car for more than 100miles before something else goes wrong, haha, nah the car is awsome, especially being that i traded my 94 k1500 6.5 turbo diesel s*** for it

Clutch most likely needs to be bled.
