cylinder #1 isnt firing need help

i recently traded my dd ka 240 for an sr powered coupe but the only problem is, is cylinder number one isnt firing. i found a thread in archives but no one answered the question.heres what it was doing, it ran fine till all of the sudden it just stop firing, would do that for a few minutes then go back to normal. and now its not firing at all. please help

bad coil perhaps? Swap coils around and see if the misfire follows it.

A bad ignitor or bad CAS will usually take all 4 cylinders and not do it intermittenly. When those parts go, they go.

I would also check your injectors to make sure they're firing, but right now I'm thinking ignition from the sounds of things.

thanks for the quick reply, we swaped coils , thats not it, and the injector is firing. i guess its the ignitor. the motor has been running for over 4 years in the states now i guess its, its time to go

check your wiring for a loose ground and then try a different ignitor.
