Cyl walls @ 30+psi

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Do you think there would be any problem with the cyl walls @ 30+psi on a .20 overbore ? The ductile iron sleeving is going to be about $100 a cyl vs. $100 for a stock bore block. But Im kinda liking the extra "ductile" insurance, i dunno. Input appreciated !

30psi???? If you plan on runnin that much why dont you just get a bike. haha

Many of the built KAs have done two bar, and held up fine. I dunno if they did 20 over, but....I'd bet you blow the HG first.

2 bar.? isnt that like 29psi ? who on Nico is running that kind of boost ? Im in need of some expertise.

Maybe no one on NICO...check out Freshalloy forums, and you'll find posts by 'PSI240SX' and 'T66 240SX', both of whom ran +25psi on built KAs.

It can handle it.
