I did a sr20 swap with my brother into his 89 sohc 240. it took about a week. It shouldnt be harder then the other cars. the only thing that we had problems with was the power steering and the radiator, engine mounts.

we were sent a hicas pump so bro decided to just leave powersteering out.

youll need the sr20 radiator and hosing it makes it alot easier and also get an electric fan. the original fan doesnt work i think... we had it snap off and break all the hoses... kinda scary if you ask methe original right engine mount broke from the ka so you might want to watch out for broken mounts and while your at it get some new ones just in case.

hope this helps.

The clutch fan from a KA could fit, all you have to do is saw about a cm off the back and a little off the blade tips.

yah i know we cut off about an inch or so i would guess but when he revved up it hit the lower radiator hose with the temp sensor and came off and broke the stock ka radiator/hoses and close to getting his freind too.that to me is kinda scary lol.

does your car overheat alot? or does the cut fan work just as good as an electric?

Mine never overheated without the fan and im considering taking the fan back off. Clutch fans like mine are not as efficient simply bacause they leech a little power off the engine. I'll eventually go electrical.
