Has anyone used this manifold from them? How does it fit? pictures? how is the downpipe clearance for a 3" for the steering rack/firewall/brake booster? what size exhaust housings and what turbos are you guys running? any other recommendations that are around this price or cheaper for something similar in positioning of the turbo? also forgot to add, how does it clear the power steering?

#6 into #5??? gross. Use your stock manifold it's cheaper.

Stock has 6 going into 5 going into 4 going into 3.... I don't see how its better. I would've used stock a long time ago if it would've worked. I'm using a hx40 t3 flanged housing so its quite large due to the wastegage bracket area.

Im running the HX40 with a t3 housing also. im using the ebay manifold (link below). I had to cut the flange a bit to shift the turbo closer to the valve covers because it wouldnt clear with the brake master cyl. and also cut and change the position of the wastegate. at the end it was all worth it because i spent like 150 in total, since i got the manifold for 80 shipped from the classifieds.
its an awesome turbo, i love mine :)

Thats the manifold I tried using actually. My exhaust housing was so big, it was touching the valve cover so I had to cut the flange and point it the OTHER way towards the strut tower. Then I had the issue of it dumping into the BMC, but no matter how much I angle the flange, the BMC will still be in the way. Do you have a picture of your set up?

Why not take the stock manifold and weld another T3 flange onto it. This would move the turbo away from the manifold for better clearance.

you have to cut the flange and move it a bit counter clockwise and then tilt it towards the valve cover.
Tach weld it before you weld the whole thing to make sure it fits! i had to get it rewelded 3 times $40 each time and still was cheaper than the CXracing manifold
here is a quick drawing i did on paint to explain:

Here is how it fits, was a pain in the a** but all worth it

What it looks like at this moment:

You know what happens when people run red lights and crash? That's what your exhaust will be doing. Not really good.

You want even flow from all cylinders, this does not do that. At all.

Its worth what ever the cost of the materals are, plus the cost to cut the flanges. Thats about it. Great starter kit for making your own manifold though.

man i couldnt see myself expend that much money on that manifold, the design is ugly as sin.. if u need a manifold just do what bkos90 did.. u will have to play with it for a bit but it be cheap.. save ur money for a nice one or if u got the money just buy a nice manifold like the fullrace, hell look up rawbrokerage, he has nice manifolds that are worth the money..

my local welder told me that he would be able to make a custom made full-race manifold just like te one you guys are talking about for about $800. He is an artist when it comes to fabricating.
The only bad thing about my set up now is that the biggest downpipe i can run with that manifold is a 3". if i want to do 4" in the future ill have to get one custom made

thanks for the responses/ideas. i just want this thing to fit lol. I can't use the stock manifold at all because of space restrictions of my strut tower, manifold clearance, and my motor mount. anyways, i took some pics to show you what I'm dealing with. I might be able to do what you did by angling and turning the flange if I get a smaller housing. It just BARELY gets by right now but way too close to the valve cover and brake master cylinder. I'll let the pics do the talking

ok so in the three above, if I just shift the flange inward, it would work but it will be difficult to get it to work with the manifold.
The following are with the tilt/twist like suggest.

I apologize for the picture quality, but I think they do the job. I think I can either grind my exhaust hosuing down, or order the bullseye housing and i should have a s*** more clearance.

HAHA you speak the truth.

hey bkos90 what are your spool up times like? what hx40 do you have and at what rpm are you spooling 7psi, 14 psi, etc and what gears?

that manifold is one of the worst designed i have ever seen... a log manifold made from galvanized pipe from home depo would flow better then that

Ha I just bought one and the material is thick just like a full race...it looks like exhaust pipe on ebay but the one I got was SS. To no avail the bolt holes dont line up so I am trying to return it but the seller wont pay return shipping and wants to give me a $20 refund. They are s*** merchants and you all should steer clear of these con artists...
