yep as wd says it will cause the turbo to hit your brake master cylinder.

i bought that manifold with the intent to cut and reweld the flange for my toyota turbo. i put it in for s*** and giggles to see how the fitment was before i cut it. HORRIBLE.

if you do choose to get that kit. definately find a way to control fuel.

i know a local guy running a cxracing kit and its been good for him. but i have no idea what he had to modify, ect. if you do a search you'll see alot of ppl would consider it ebay junk. but then again it has worked flawless for some.

WD that actually looks like a nice kit for the money but as posted you need something for fuel.

WD have you ever experimented with a 5th injector for extra fuel? i would be curious about that.

Dude...

I'm the man when it comes to sub-injection :dblthumb: There are tons of ways to run low boost without changing hardly anything in your stock setup. For instance, the cheapest way I've ever seen done that works well is adding a CSI (cold start injector) that is triggered by a hobbs switch. The CSI would come on at 5 psi and allow for 8 psi of boost without a tune or changing any other parts. The Dodge guys WAY back in the day used to do this all the time.

That's just a cheap method of adding fuel so you can run a low amount of boost. The methods for adding secondary fuel sources are almost limitless. Pick a target power level and there is a method for controlling fuel to get there without touching the stock system. Most are MAP based systems that control either solenoid pulses or fuel pump volume.

sweet. so say a car already had a cold start injector... just get a 5psi hobs switch and it then runs constant? that is pretty cool. i have an 88 celica that runs like a top.. and also has the cold start injector. plus i got a free turbo for it. but i was debating trying the injector idea or an fmu. cause i have both....

The FMU is a better option. Just use a 6:1 diaphragm for it, anything larger will make it to rich.
