Has anyone used parts for mods from cx racing? If so how would you rate them as far as performance? quality?

The part/parts I am specifically inquiring about are the pipes from the cat to the mufflers, and including the mufflers too. hope that clarifies things a bit. thanku

So the Cat-back Exhaust, I can't help you there because I have never seen a CXR exhaust for the Z32 and its not listed on their website either. I do know that the cheaper (megan, cxr, godspeed, etc..) exhaust components sometimes have fitment issues that are non existent with the more expensive setup however they are much more expensive.

The reason why I was asking was because the monza exhaust and pipes I had my mechanic order never arrived. So somehow cx racing exhaust and pipes were shipped. However, there were fitment issues, and were not able to be installed. So this left me w/ my cool air intake finished, and my headers replaced but no cat back exhaust installed. Not to mention i am minus $$$$$ w/ a Z that basically sounds as it did before. Although there is definetely more performance, and a slightly better sound, the only problem is when I step on the brake w/ my foot on the clutch, I lose power, and I stall. end up having to re-start the engine quckly, w/out causing an accident. To say the least I am a bit frustrated right now!!! Any thoughts on the stalling????? Its times like these when I wish I had chosen a different profession/vocation.

I too had trouble finding cat back exhausts on cx racings site. I did however find one, and only one. I have the link saved in my favorites. nevertheless, it doesnt matter because I did not end up going with it. there were fitment issues. I decided to use a flowmaster system instead.

Good choice on the flowmaster. As for the stalling there is a plethora of things that could cause stalling/hesitation issues I suggest you read over the EF EC section in the FSM and see if you cant pinpoint the problem that way.

Having just added cold air raises the possibility that with a larger front bumper opening(?), you may have the infamous hesitation problem from the extra airflow messing up the MAF- requiring a shield or "flower pot mod" around part or all of your cold air intake filter.
I had this happen with a new front bumper, which suddenly caused the same issues you mention until I put a shield around the filter...
