I just got my intercooler from cx racing and was wondering if anyone had issues with installation? They gave me nuts and bolts and brackets that have slots for the bolts to go through. problem is no instructions, slots in the brackets are too small for the bolts. anyone else have that problem too? what did you do to improvise?

That's the problem with eBay, they NEVER send you any instructions. I bought a catback off them a few years ago and haven't had one problem out of it. Someone should chime in with an answer soon, good luck!!

are they originally an ebay seller? i tried to see if it would be different if i bought it from their website. i ended up spending more for the intercooler hoping for better service.

All intercooler kits usually have to be custom one way or another. Mine works just fine from ebay.

I thought that's where you got it from. Yeah, they originally sold on eBay. But I've heard that the eBay knockoff intercoolers are pretty good for the price. Never had any personal experience though.

i have the cxracing intercooler kit... great kit imo... no complaints... as for mounting... it is somewhat of a custom job.... you just have to get creative...

i have no problems with my cxracing fmic kit. I just bent 2 of the brackets into an L shape and bolted them up somewhere. One of my clamps snapped when I was tightening it so I just bought a regular hose clamp from the store.

The catback I got from them sounds good, but 2 of the hangers snapped cause it's probably made from s***ty material

Ebay intercooler, you can see how I mounted mine with the supplied brackets. Maybe they are the same? It mounted to the horn brackets.
