Hi guys,
I realize there are known issues with the CVT, but cannot locate any thread which discusses an issue that similar to what I am experiencing. I have a 2010 Rogue AWD with 40k miles on the clock. At around 1400 and 2700 RPMs, a whining/mechanical noise is made when accelerating or decelerating. The problem is worse in warmer weather, particularly in the summer. See the video - I suspect it's the transmission, but am hoping to get some additional thoughts before taking it to a dealer. I do not lose any power and car continues to accelerate/decelerate, just with this very pronounced high-pitched sound.
Thanks in advance.
