Nissan doubles CVT warranty to 10 years/200,000km, will pay for repairs already done that would have been under warranty, and lowers cost of repairs to CVT over 200,000 km

Pre-emptive strike because of Toyota?

Did you just find this out??? If so, this is old news, lol.

My brother received his letter in the mail from Nissan a few weeks ago, I have yet to receive mine, but this was discussed on here a LONG time ago.

You're right. Old news. Nissan actually started sending out letters back in November announcing the CVT warranty extension and it applies to all Nissan vehicles with CVTs. Here's a link to their CVT warranty program, which includes a copy of the letter:

Lol, no worries! At least you got the letter.I'm still waiting My brother got his and he just bought his car in September. I bought mine in April of 2008 and still no letter
