So i just finished the CVT service with filters & fluid and while driving back from my shop and paying close attention i noticed the following.
This car has, and has had for years, a rumble/roar that i thought was the trans and a Slight vibration is felt in the steering wheel & floorboard (brother's 08 did the same thing for years). The source "feels" like the RT front, however, this was the first time i noticed that when turning slightly right (5-10 degrees?) the rumble/vibe disappears completely. Turning Left, not so much but more tests would need to be done to confirm anything further.
It feels like it "could" be tire tread/wear but I'm not sure about that and think its possibly the CV joint.(?) BTW. I'm 60, so I have driven a few miles and have always serviced & repaired everything I've ever owned.
So, If you made it this far, what is your experience with this anomaly?

PS. CVT temps gradually increased and topped-out at 170 during the 18 mile interstate trip home.

Roaring/humming that changes or disappears when turning in one direction is almost always a bad a wheel bearing. Nissan uses roller bearings, and when they develop a flat spot in one or more rollers they hum/roar under load. Turning in the direction that loads the wheel will often increase the noise, in the direction which unloads it will decrease it or even make it disappear. Put a stethoscope on the hub and listen for clicking or ticking while spinning the wheel, anything other than faint white noise is abnormal and means a bad bearing.

I've seen wheel bearings that lasted for tens of thousands of miles after beginning to make noise, so the fact that it's done it for a long time doesn't mean much.
