Ok, after 2 succesful months of running, I am pretty confident we solved the problem with the CVT overheating with the massive transmission cooler we ran. So, I took some videos tonight of some acceleration runs, exhaust with no cats or resonators, and bov. Now, looking at some of these vids, they don't seems all that fast, but believe me, the car pulls. I'm sure Robert, Sean, or Ricky will all attest to its power. Anyways, here ya go guys Sorry for the wait.

It is a huge improvement. I drove it when it was only at 4 lbs of boost and I could feal a significant difference. What are you at now blake? 6 lbs?

Your videos do suck thow. hahaha We need to meet up and take some proper videos, and maybe even go on a canyon run again. Maybe after you get back from your cruise. Try not to break too many hearts while you are out there. hahaha

you guys should race and film it. blake is faster for sure but it will give the rest of us a comparison between turbo and non turbo.

So Blake, will the transmission cooler be included in SFR's turbo package?

I'm too new to tell a mod that his videos suck...

But I was impressed with the one illustrating the 50-100 MPH run. The speedo was still happily winding around when Blake lifted off. Clearly pulling much, much harder than a non-turbo. Now where can I find $5500+?...

Lol, well, I tried to convince my gf to go with me and videotape, but she was sleeping, so, I had to do it all. It wasn't very good quality nor was is easy to speed like that and videotape. So, my apologies on the clarity. Maybe Sean and I can meet up and film some side by side shots.

Well, you know the deal.. if we can find a nice Sunday, I'll videotape a few comparisons... what we really need to do is the three of us head out to that drag strip racing spot that Daniel told us about, and let me take a head to head shot of you two going at it so we can see just how much faster the turbo is in the 1/4,, my guess is high 12's

12's is a bit to low, but possibly mid to low 13's on a cool day. good luck and make us some vids.

you know I thought about that... but I've seen the track slips fron Hussain who did 13.9 with just his exhaust removed.... I think you and Blake with over 320 to the wheels should be able to knock out a 12.9... just my thoughts though, I may be wrong!

hooking up is the 1st problem, but if blake's throwing down 320whp he'll make 12's. i have no idea how many lbs he's boosting now days so.... 320 whp would be around 6 lbs boost with a great tune, and some cool weather. i had fun with a 08 350z last saturday and I completely walked the guy and scared the sh*t outta my passenger in the process. Looked over at her in high 2nd and she had a strange look on her face and her head was completely stuck to the head rest. She then said DAMN, this little car can fly! Good times!

Oh HELL YEAH does that car pull. When I drove it I was being pushed back into the seat and I'm not the lightest of guys to get pushed back...LOL (Don't laugh. I'm not thick I'm just FLUFFY!!!). The pull force is incredible with the turbo. It is for sure a G37 killer any day of the week. It was a pleasure driving the car. It gave me higher hopes for my car of what could be done and get it up to a 350z standards and better I would say. I've driven a 350z since my cousin has a 2008 and I would say that Blakes car has a far better pull and acceleration ratio. The 350z would eat nothing but DUST!!! Thanks Blake for making my trip to SD worth every single mile.

No problem Ricky!

I think I can pull low 13's with the car, but I'm not sure. We can try, but I'm leaving on deployment next thursday. I don't think we are gonna get a chance.

yeah, and I won't be racing your car while you're gone either... but with your permission, I will take it out for a spin every now and then...
