CVT Transmission on Altima Coupe Questions

I was wondering what the whole deal about the Transmisson on the CVT Altima Coupe/Sedan is? What exactly is the problem with the transmission? i hear some of you have actually blown your cvt transmission already, what exactly happened? I own a 3.5 altima coupe cvt.

Hmm, overall the CVT is pretty solid, especially for the 3.5. It's just when you try to turbo it, you might run into issues. It's a good transmission but has it's draw backs in some areas but on average, it should last you awhile, good thing is Nissan extended the warranty on it to 120,000 miles.

question...has anyone tried a transmission swap? ive been wondering if anyones has done it, if it was possible and how much it would probably cost....for the 2.5..
