Isn't that if you're towing? Must have understood the book

It does not say 12 months or 15K miles for cvt fluid anywhere.

It says 30K or 24 months if towing and 60K and 48 months if not

I'll back you up on that. It says 96,000 km in the Canadian manual (equals 60,000 miles) or 48 months. Level inspections come earlier, but replacement not. I think t0e is confusing inspection with changing?

Towing means... if YOU are towing something with your car... a camping trailer, etc.

that makes for a funny site; one of my best friends brother used to tow his boat with his Camero, and if you were behind him all you could see was a boat going down the road because you couldn't even see the car, it was a funny site. Sorry I got off track.

15,000 miles is to check the fluid in the US manual.

Depending on which maintence schedule you follow (premium or schedule 1), the CVT fluid should be changed at 30,000 miles or 60,000 miles.

Use only the Nissan NS-2 fluid when having the transmission fluid changed - any other fluid (auto transmission fluid, aftermarket "CVT" fluids, etc) will void your warranty and it will damage/destroy your transmission.

Note that this change costs a lot, as the NS-2 fluid is about $10 a bottle, and the procedure is different from an auto transmission.
