I am starting a new topic as otherwise this will get lost. I just got of the phone with Nissan Canada, however, I am not able to talk to the actual Rep that visits the dealers, just the people answering the Customer Relations line. All I got was the usual standard line" we are aware of it and working on a solution"What can we do here in Canada to put some pressure on Nissan to do something!! This is totally ridiculous, the car is not even a year old, I cant sell it or do anything else until this is fixed. What about some bad press to get their attention??? This has the potential to turn into a PR nightmare for them.

And how many more new topics about the same subject will be created? Why can't you guys continue the old ones?

Sorry to have wasted your time, but I was just asking what could be done to put some pressure on Nissan Canada, as most other threads on the rattle subject are a bit overcrowded.I am tired of smart aleck replies such as yours and I will just not bother with any more postings!!! Who made you the moderator of this forum!!Paul

Making multiple thread regarding the same subject is a general no no on NICO.

Giving Nissan bad PR isn't very nice, but I guess that's just my take. They've been a great company for a long time. I'm not sure where things are going with them now.

I feel for your situation, but I would be a little more compassionate about the situation. Try contacting them again or possibly talking to your dealership about what can be done. There are a lot better options than a smear campaign. They may find out it was you and find a way to deny your warranty.

Did you spent close to $37000 (CDN) on a brand new car that develops an issue with the transmission with less than 13000km on it??? If you did you would know why I am so frustrated. Upto now I have been patient, but after 6 months of no real updates, this is getting a bit too much!!!I will ask the moderator to remove this thread.

Paul, I agree with you and disagree with SentientbyDesign. Nissan Canada doesn't seem to be offering you and your new car warranty much respect, so I wouldn't hesitate to vent your frustrations about them on this forum, provided you are fair and accurate with the details. If Nissan is leaving out to dry with a faulty transmission on your $37000 dollar new car, then they deserve to get roasted and called out on in person and on this forum, if you so choose. Of course they deserve some time to assess the situation, but 6 months is too long and if they dont' know what the problem is, then they should replace your vehicle with another one that functions properly. I say, go ahead and share all the details of their terrible service, and pay no attention to SentientbyDesign. Respect is something that not only must be earned, it must be maintained on a continuous basis, and Nissan obviously hasn't done this with you. I am very happy with Nissan m

Thanks for the vote of confidence

My main point is: Don't get angry at another member because you decided to multi-thread the same subject and he/she called you out on it.

If you plan on using this thread to log your issues chronologically, then great! But if you just want to repeat what your other thread has said, then that's just as bad as spam (the unsolicited email or "meat" product- You decide).

Gee, I go on vacation for 2 weeks and look what happens. Play nicely people!

I am still on vacation... If this thread continues to be a problem, I will deal with it once I get back.

Paul, perhaps you can start a thread titled 'how to deal with unresponsive customer service by nissan' - prevents 'repetition' of threads others are complaining about.

I too feel Nissan hasn't addressed issues well. Take the door sill paint scratching problem. There has not been any discussion or movement on their part even though each person I contacted has told me things are being worked out. Patience is one thing, but waiting more than 3 months for news or decisions regarding resolution is unacceptable, especially from a company we gave money too. Heck, even our government gets things done quicker than that!

I'm not too sure what to suggest. Keep logging all your contact, names and positions of people you have spoken too. Then keep writing letters. Write a letter outlining all those people in between you have spoken too. I really can't think of what else you can do to other than gather people/signatures and having a much larger mobilization effort. The only power you have is to make a stink about it, that's the only thing that works with these big companies.

Good luck!Sampson

Yep in hindsight I should have used a different title. I was just frustrated yesterday. My car is in the paintshop again( 4th time) to repaint the rear bumper and than the rattle issue. Maybe I should just have a stiff drink and say "Its not the end of the world"
