CVT question

Car: 2011 Nissan Versa SL HB CVT

This is a 'just wondering' question. Is the CVT transmission in the 2011 Versa HB the very same CVT found in the Rogue and Murano models? In other words, is the Versa's CVT identical to the one used with the 290HP engine - exclusive of software programming? Or, is it a 'lighter-duty' unit? ~ james

Completely different CVT unit.

JF009E = Versa.
JF010E = Murano.
JF011E = Rogue.

Thank you Andrews Chalmers. That's what I suspicioned. After my post, I came across a Nissan Global 12MB pdf. It agreed with the three you mentioned ~ james
