Had my V on an upward hill yesterday, for the first time and expected it to hold like my Maxima. No way, as soon as I let off the gas it started to role back so I used the right foot on the brake rather than give a little gas. No problem however my wife today ... between the coffee, the cell phone, the yappy girlfriend, rolled back until someone (a semi) honked and it was a near miss on the same hill that is not that steep. You learn to use both feel on a manual and at one time you could only get your licence using a manual transmission .... So, careful out there.

Good info...especially since I'm getting bagels on St-Viateur later tonight t and will need to drive up Jeanne-Mance. I guess only people who've been to Montreal will understand that last bit.

I attended SGWU in the 60's and the only hill around was Mont Royal

Jeanne-Mance Street leads up to the mountain! I went to Concordia, which used to be Sir George Williams.
