2014 Versa Note SL second transmission, will not shift after 2500 rpms, either have take foot off gas or tap brakes to force it to shift into the next gear. It shifts fine in the lower gears. Any chance a fluid change would help?
If fluid will not help and cvt is getting ready to die, has anyone ever taken one from junk yard? How fragile are they? I can get one from yard around here for about $200 if I pull it.
Current CVT is used one from a parts place my mechanic used, cost around a $1000. Another $1000 installed and programmed, guaranteed 12,000 miles. Currently got 24,000 out of it before this issue.
First time posting here. i searched the topics before I posted and didn't see an answer.
Thanks for any help.
