Since it seems the availability and serviceability of cvt’s for 09 2.5 (non-hybred) is shrinking as this car approaches 10yo, are there any year swaps 2010 + that are a direct fit or close? I appreciate any info that would be useful

Hi! I'm about 95% positive that our CVT isn't interchangeable with any other new ones. Our CVT was phased out/revamped around 2012-2013 to act slightly differently. There's a video somewhere detailing all of the differences between the new CVT and ours but I'm afraid we're SOL. A CVT from any Altima 2.5 (coupe or sedan) 2008-2012 fits our cars. And a CVT from a 2013 Altima coupe (not sedan) fits as well. Just make sure you specify 2.5 because the 3.5 CVT is different and won't fit. The 2013 Altima coupe only came in a 2.5
