CVT in hatchback and sedan

Is CVT only in the 2009 hatchbacks. Does the 2009 sedan SL have CVT. I coludnt find it on their website. Anyone knows for sure.

Well who'da thunk it, but I agree. On the website you can build a Hatchback SL and it shows the CVT, but you build a Sedan SL and it only shows the 4-speed automatic. Another reason to choose a Hatchback?!

Yes the Versa is made in Sedan..

And the 2008 sedan models have the CVT in the SLs, I don't think they'd have it for just one year then drop it.. You may have to go to the lot to find one with a CVT.

When I went to the dealer with my friend the other day, none of the sedans had a CVT of course none had a MT either, but it looks like the only CVTs now are the HB.

Actually I think they might have done so. When I purchased my sedan in '07, there was no CVT for the 2007 sedan models, only the HB carried it. In 2008 they both did and since Nissan decided to make the sedan even cheaper they might have just dropped the CVT in the sedan all together and just leave it in the HB.
