I've noticed a slight hesitation when putting my V into drive.

Example: I back out of my parking space and after coming to a complete stop, it put it into drive. About 2 seconds after taking my foot off the brake, the CVT finally decides it wants to go which results in a very slight jerking action. This concerns me but not too much because the car only has 440 miles on it. Has anyone else experienced this weird behavior and will it ever go away?

Mine does the same thing. I have to be completely stopped and then put it from R to D. Even shifting out of Reverse into neutral does it as well.

28k on mine, and while it might jerk sometimes going from reverse to drive (especially if I'm not at a full stop), it never takes any time to kick in when I put it in drive. Two seconds seems like a long time, new or not.
