Does anyone have a copy of the factory service manual pages for the CVT fluid change procedure? Are there any specialty tools required for filing? How many quarts of fluid do I need to have on hand? Does anyone have the part numbers for the pan filter or the other filter on the side? Thanks!

I can get you a PDF if you post or PM your email addy. There's no simple leveling plug like the '10 series CVT's. The '11's use a standpipe adaptor and bottom fill pump, so some special tools are needed. Unless you have a leak, you're much better off doing the operation cold and simply making sure you catch all the old fluid and replacing exactly what you take out. The "filter" in the pan is actually a screen and replacing it is pretty pointless, just blow it clean. Because the '11's have a planetary clutch set, there is a point to replacing the paper filter, which is located under a cylindrical cover on the driver end of the transmission housing.

Does the PDF list a part number for the paper filter? I tried to look online, but I couldn't find one listed for a 2025. What model years are the 11 series CVT used in? My email address is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. if you could please send a PDF there. I do appreciate it!!

Sent. It's for your personal use only, PLEASE DO NOT POST OR DISTRIBUTE IT.

The N18 Versa and P15 Kicks are the only models using the '11B, but the '11A was used in the B17 Sentras and N17 Versas and I don't think there's any difference in the paper filter. The p/n for those is 31726-28X0A.

PS - The FSM's never list part numbers. In fact, one of our biggest gripes as technicians is naming of parts. There are literally thousands of instances where the FSM calls a part one thing and the Parts Book calls it something completely different. It's a very sorry example of left and right hands never knowing what the other is doing.
