Does anyone know of a CVT dipstick that will give some baseline measure of the CVT fluid in a 2018 Rogue Sport CVT, 2.0 Litre, North American?
What we have is a plastic cap covering the dipstick tube, no metal dip stick. I'd like to change the CVT fluid but need a baseline reading first. I have seen a few nissan parts sites that have dipstick pics on the parts diagrams, but they supply just a plastic cap, not a dipstick regardless of the item shown in the diagram. At what model year did Nissan stop supplying the owners with a means of checking the transmission fluid level?

The CVT dipstick was eliminated with the 2ng gen model, so 2014. Pretty much everything has already been covered in previous threads. And yes, even though you have the smaller Sport model that info will still be useful. Use the SEARCH feature in this forum.
