Hey guys, have had my 2014 Rogue for about a week and am concerned I have a defective CVT. At low speed (20-30 MPH) there is a slight vibration in the gas pedal and sometimes the steering wheel while accelerating. Also, while just cruising at moderate speeds (40-60 MPH) the car has a sensation of engine braking kicking in in a pulsing action every few seconds. It feels like the car is losing some power or braking over and over but without actually slowing down. If I put it into neutral it stops. I was thinking it could just be a CVT thing that I am not used to but I know two people with new Rogues and neither have either problem I am speaking of. I have contacted the dealer to get the car seen but was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts? Thanks.

I would certainly stop by your dealer for a check on any DTCs.
The fluid level is critical on all CVTs, and not so easily checked anymore.
It involves raising the vehicle on the lift and having the fluid at a specific temperature.
If everything checks out OK, welcome to the world of Nissan CVTs!
