Hey guys...

If i put my CVT 2.5 in NEUTRAL, the yellow "the key isnt in the car" light starts flashing on the dashboard, and the fuel gets choked from the engine (it wont rev over like 1,500 rpm)

Does this happen to anyone else? If so, please post your experience

I have a 3.5 and I don't get the 'no key' light, but if I press the accelerator the engine just cycles between 1500 and 2000 RPM. Maybe it's Nissan's way of preventing high RPM drops into drive.

I might try it to see, but usually I only pop it into neutral to save gas coming down an off-ramp or approaching a stoplight on a main road.
