2010 Rogue with 128K miles. CVT transmision replaced under warranty at 85K.
On long drives in Arizona the transmission goes into fail-safe mode I'm guessing because of the heat.
Bought a Hayden #637 Transmission cooler which was listed for this car.
Came with generic instructions but looks similar to the factory ones.
Not sure what hoses to splice into because the factory manual lists two configurations because some have the cooler already installed.
I believe mine has the coolant based cooler but think that the Hayden would certainly help keep the temperature down.

Anyone put one of these on their Rogue and maybe shed some light on how they did it?

Thanks!

i did it on my 2002 maxima (non cvt).

you gotta find the line "out" on the transmission line. follow it to the lower radiator.
then located the line out of the lower radiator (line "in" for the transmission)
install a long transmission fluid line from the radiator out/transmission in to the TOP of the new cooler
from the bottom of the new cooler, route a line to the transmission IN

The only problem with this is the coolant based cooler on this model (on the engine block). There is no radiator type cooler on my model although some do have them if you get the towing package.
The factory manual is very unclear about which hoses are which. Thanks!

I did a little research and noticed that the only difference between the cooler on the transmission is the extra ports for the external cooler. The cvt mointed cooler has extra ports that allow the actual CVT oil to enter an external cooler. On the CVT's that do not have the external cooler, all they did was not drill the ports for the oil to exit. All you need to do is remove the cooler and drill and tap the cooler and add tubes to the CVT mounted cooler and then port the lines to the external cooler just like the service bulletin recommends. This will save about 800 dollars for the kit they want and will properly cool the CVT. I didn't do this to my Rogue because it is still under the factory warranty and I don't want them to say that my mod voided the warranty. Attached is a picture.

Where can I find this part and description about it? I have a 2007 nissan sentra, and its CVT overheats BAD! It is cooled by engine coolant, and it doesnt work. I see the extra ports on that piece, for mounting external radiator to actually cool the CVT oil. I need this part! Please help!
