Cop: This means you got a misdemeanor for doing doughnuts...

Hahah good thing he caught me at the end of my drift, so it looked like doughnuts.

Sucks, impounded for 30 days by the Ontario police. Salute to you Uncle ****ERS!

anyone else get this ticket?

well, in ontario, they're cracking down harder on the races. I'm not totally sure if they can tow it, but with that cvc code, it states that it's street racing, etc. Stuff to that sort. So I'm guessing that street racing can get you towed.

I just saw my car today. Took out some personal belongings. If you ever get your car impounded in Ontario, the tow yards keep your car safe. If anything is missing, personal belongings, or even the car, they get in trouble with the police. A better peace of mind I guess.

Poor car..it's in jail for a month.

sucks man. im lucky to not have gotten a ticket like this yet.... me and the local performance nissan shop are still looking for a good place to drift without being disturbed and without disturbing others.... so far our best idea is to go to the giant parking lot at texas motor speedway and set up a bunch of cones and act like were a sanctioned event....haha

sorry to hear about your car though. poor thing. i bet shes so lonely sitting there for a month. oh, and tell your car to watch its tail pipe. other cars in the impound are really wierd like that.

I got a ticket for exhibition of speed because I got sideways on a turn and got out of it because I sent a letter to the judge saying that I can prove it was 27 degrees out at the time, and it rained the day prior, there was ice on the ground. The cop only saw my slide out on the turn. He didnt see my 20 ft burnout or hear me bouncing off the rev limitor when I turned

Gotta love it. Look for ways to get out of it. What did the cop see? Could it have been an accident? Was it wet? I got a $1,500 misdemeanor ticket turned into a 110 unsafe turn ticket. You can do the same. i'm sure.. I've gotta go to traffic school though.

I was going to go to court to fight the reduced unsafe turn ticket, but I didnt want to push my luck. I already got out of a lot...

That sucks about the car. You are probably going to owe more in the impound fees than the car is worth. Last I checked, fees were $100+ A DAY.

well, here in ontario it's 25 dollars a day, so I lucked out on that.

The cop's name who issued me the ticket was Scaffer, not like scaf-fer, but shayfer.

Yeah the cop saw me as I was exiting my drift, so he thought it was a doughnut. I believe for this ticket, the storage + processing fee is about 1100 bucks, and the ticket itself is 275 dollars.
