CV Axle

I'm told that the boot has ripped off my front left CV axle. Can you tell me what parts I need to buy to replace this and if there are any places that you would reccommend buying it from?

From what you said, I am gonna ssume you don't have a 240sx. And your car must a front driver or four wheel drive. All you need to buy is the boot and some grease. Just pull out the CV axle and replace the boot after packing the CV joint with grease, then put some grease in the boot, and slap it back together. You can get CV boots at any parts store.

Since you'll already have the whole shaft out might as well replace the whole thing, incase any unnoticable damage was done with the boot off. Dirt can be a *****
