Welcome to NICO!

This is the Front Axle section of the FSM. It has detailed step-by-step instructions with illustrations.

Does anybody know if the OEM CV joints are better than ones youget at Autozone, Oreilleys etc? I have seen threads saying therubber boots are better but I dont know if the shafts of theOEMmight be of a better spec?

I would generally say that the OEM should be of beater quality than most after market ones. The only exception that I know of to this (as far as axles) are ones made by Raxles. They support much more power than the OEM axles and have a lifetime warranty as well.
