Is it possible to lower a 240sx (1992) by cutting the stock springs?

Thanks

If it were my car, I'd save up some money and get some proper lowering springs. Also, messing around with coil springs can be dangerous, so be careful. Rent a spring compressor from a place like Autozone.

sure why not. Try it and if you screw up or you cut too much or some other un wanted suspension defect then just get some springs from the junkyard or someone selling them on NICO.

Try maybe a coil and a half a coil at first.

thanks all!

Ill probably go with springs on eBay they are pretty cheap, I want my car lowered but also to handle good. I just like saving money and doing things myself.
